About Us, Our History
Interested in chestnut and the high levels of consumption there was in the past, Elizabeth Stapel and Enrique Delgeon traveled several times to the foot of the Andes Mountains in Chile searching for chestnut trees which production preserved the most pure essence of the local nature and nutritional value. This couple settled their operations at El Carmen, a small town in the South of Chile, where in the year 2006 they founded the company named SanoSur.
After a while SanoSur met in the region other elements of high nutritional value that increased its offer of natural products, to be able to deliver to the world tastes from the chilean forest in a variety of products rigorously selected.
Following the principles of Fair Commerce, it is people from El Carmen’s community that work at the different production steps.
